[spoken] Attention attention, this is not a drill, this is a party political broadcast from the 99%. Take your eyes off your phone for just one second and leave your ego at the door. If you only listen with half an ear, you only have a quarter of the right to criticise. So sit down, shut up and listen. It’s been a hell of a ride through the past few years I’ve fought, conquered and gained new fears I’ve been built up, broken and rebuilt again We’re all in this together, in the lions den It seems the worlds run by crazy people With no one to stand up for the weak and feeble The racists from the history books are out in the streets Spouting hate disguised as free speech Think this is peace? Get informed We’re more divided than ever before It’s a wild, wild world, we don’t trust one another We’re social animals but we’re eating each other So much time spent on our phones Hundreds of “friends,” but we feel so alone We give the stage to those with no love in their hearts Then we act surprised when the fires start At each other’s throats, coming to a head My newsfeed says we’ll all soon be dead Threats of war being thrown around But I’ll believe it when the lights go down This isn’t peace, get informed This is a different kind of war Does it feel familiar, have you seen it before? Have we travelled back to 1964? Hurtling towards this inevitable end It’s now more than ever that we need friends The good times will come, we’ll lift the curse But before it gets better, it’s gonna get worse [spoken] We live in a culture that’s growing more and more narcissistic everyday. We judge our value based on how many likes a photo gets on our Instagram account and compare ourselves to celebrities whose heights we could never hope to reach. And while we strive for some semblance of fulfilment in this digital wasteland, we ignore the real problems. Outside in the streets people call for the slaughter of those who they disagree with, calling for blood and oil, threatening to send us back in time to an age where we didn’t know any better. Those people are living in a world that has long since past, and they can do two things. They can either adapt to the new world, or they can be destroyed. Violence, war, prejudice in the streets Will nothing change till someone bleeds? Strip back our disguise, we’re all the same Social animals, igniting a flame Where do you stand? Who do you believe? Do you stay at home watching it on your TV? Will you defend your flag under attack? Or will you stand and salute the red, white and black? And from the ashes let it rise Something new before our eyes Let it rise, let it rise We’ve gone too far, let the past die

Horizon 02:55
I see you thinking, dreading the day That you become too old for any dead end jobs You're up in the air, you're a nuclear bomb You're losing sleep, thinking of years you've lost You push others away because they won’t understand But don’t walk away, just take my hand Too many times you’ve pulled me out of a hole So what makes you think that you need to do this alone? Even it's only for an hour or two Let's live in the hour, just me and you Run away with me, forget your fears Meet me over the horizon, I’ll be there my dear In your car, accelerate, I’m by your side Let’s drive until you find your peace of mind I want to fix what keeps you up at night Eradicate what scares you when you close your eyes As we go, we’ll sing to your favourite song Wind down the windows and we’ll sing along Feel alive in the warmth of a fading sun You made it this far when all is said and done And even if it's only for an hour or two Let's live for the hour just me and you Don’t look back, forget your fear Meet me over the horizon, I’ll be there my dear And I see the tears run out of your eyes Bittersweet reminder of our real lives The sky turns red and I look to you You’re on fire, to your life you’re in tune And even if it's only for an hour or two Let's live for the hour just me and you Don’t look back, forget your fear Over the horizon, I’ll be there my dear Over the horizon, I’ll be there my dear Over the horizon, I’ll be there my dear Over the horizon, I’ll be there my dear Over the horizon, I’ll be there my…

Drop Dead 03:42
It started out like any other night Four years on and it had to be tonight And when I heard your voice ring out from afar And in that moment I wished you’d just get hit by a car Same shit, new day, is this all you ever do? That was rhetorical, but you wouldn’t know would you? You’re still stuck in your high school days When acting like this would have got you your way Have you moved on at all in your life? You never really were the sharpest knife Years after the fact, you stupid fucking dick Thinking you can come back with the same old tricks? I’m stronger than you, not in body but in mind I’ve long since left the past behind But the same old shit rattles off your stupid tongue You're a walking advert for a pack of condoms And when I see people like you I could really care less Really care less if you dropped fucking dead Drop dead, drop dead, drop fucking dead I wouldn't save your life if you had a gun to your head Drop dead, drop dead, drop fucking dead God, I’d love to break your kneecaps again and again At the end of the day it’s really not surprising Every town needs a twat, and my town is hiring Everything about you is just ugly Right down to your personality Forgive my lack of nuance in the heat of the moment I won’t dwell on you because you don’t deserve it Keep it up, and when you end up alone I’ll be the first to say I told you so Bring out the usual suspects like you always do The predictable prick that I always knew Demanding attention as soon as you walk in But you’ll have to wait, the grownups are talking You’re just a child, in a world outgrowing you And I see in your eyes, you don’t know what to do And I almost wanna feel bad for you But if you wanna do me a favour, here’s what can you do Drop dead, drop dead, drop fucking dead Go outside, slip and fall and take a blow to your head Drop dead, drop dead, drop fucking dead Your very existence is comedy gold in my head What are you even doing man? What are you trying to prove? Laughing at your own jokes, no ones laughing with you Get a life, it won’t happen quick But would it really kill you just to not be a dick? I honestly don’t know how you’ve made it this far When you’re such a fucking monumental pain in my arse Moving in circles when folks get tired of you But it can’t be long before they abandon you too And I know that you're not even worth my attention And all of this is just needless aggression But I want it on record that you’re a nasty piece of work And I wish you nothing but the absolute worst Woah-oh-oh, woah-oh-oh (x8)

Go 04:55
You’re feeling trapped after she let you down again Facing three more years in this town you’re scared If you don't leave now then you never will Come on, pack all your things, climb that hill She’s got a black heart, yours is painted too Injecting that venom deep inside of you She got inside your head, she nearly dragged you down But you got away, the time is now At the station your guitar case, is by your side It’s all that you need, it gives you piece of mind A message to your friends, that you can show You made it, you're out and we all know Get on that train now and don’t turn back Repaint your heart, wash away the black Your life is in your hands, it was never hers Anything you had with her, let it burn It’s sad that we even ever reached this stage You’re picking up the pieces, you’re so ashamed So pick yourself up, we’ll help you out And listen here, when we say now Go, go! Take your money and run Heavy foot falls as you race towards the setting sun Go, go! Don't ever look back Just the clothes on your back, no real plan of attack She’s out of your life, so start again Keep moving on, move past the pain Go, go! And at the end of the day You’ll be better off tomorrow than you are today She buried you in a grave she dug She’d been threatening to leave but now she's gone for good This was a blessing in disguise It won’t stop the tears in your eyes She broke you with the blame, you blamed on yourself You couldn't fix her, she hated herself That burden my friend was never yours to bear It’s hurting you and leaving you, worse for wear Lying, cheating, stealing in her twisted game She made you feel, you were the one to blame But you were hooked on her, and couldn’t get away And like an addict, you wasted away So get on that train, and go far away Leave your thoughts of her on the ground this day They’re not worth the energy you’d spend on them Before they drag you down into that hole again You can’t fix yourself if you remain here Too much pain, anger, hate and fear So you made a bet, and you ran away And I speak for us all of us when we say Go, go! Take your money and run Heavy foot falls as you race towards the setting sun Go, go! Don't ever look back Just the clothes on your back, no real plan of attack The times finally here, time for you to go I'm sad to see you leave but deep down I know This isn't the place for you anymore You're gonna go crazy if you don't walk out the door Go, go! We will always meet again Don't let the past hold you back, keep moving friend Go, go! Don't ever look back Just the clothes on your back no real plan of attack Go, go! Take your money and run We’ll be here with open arms when all is said and done Go, go! You’re gonna win this game Don’t let anyone else snuff out your flame Just, go! Go! Just go! Go!
